Matthew Hannah maintains he is the Winston Wolf of Innes England as, just like the Direct Line adverts, he knows how to fix problems focused on the property world. When he’s not managing the business, he’s maximising the value of clients’ surplus land and buildings or helping them to acquire new premises to support their business.

Ben Robinson

Head of Investment

Ben heads up our brand-new investment department at Innes England after returning to his hometown of Nottingham after 15 years in London.

Ben has spent the past six years as a senior investment advisor at Matthews & Goodman where he was involved in over £250m of real estate transactions across a variety of sectors. Prior to this he spent time at CBRE undertaking international real estate transactions, and eight years at Mapeley where he was an asset manager overseeing a £600 million UK fund.

Since joining Innes England, Ben has been involved in over £30 million of investments in the beds and sheds space, most notably the recent c.£20 million sale of Orbis 1,2 & 3 at Pride Park Derby.

Adam Rock

Director - Head of Birmingham

Adam leads our brand-new Birmingham office and specialises in professional services ranging from valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals and business rates. Adam is a Fellow of the RICS (FRICS), a RICS Registered Valuer and member of the Rating Surveyors' Association also with IRRV (Hons) status.

As a RICS Registered Valuer, Adam provides valuations for loan security purposes, rental and capital valuations for a wide variety of property types and for a diverse client list ranging from private individuals to corporate banks.

Adam is experienced in all landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals and agreement of new leases acting on behalf of both the landlords and tenants. Adam has a good track record for successful third-party resolutions following dispute resolution whilst acting as an expert.

From individual clients through to large portfolios, Adam can advise on business rates to help save clients significant sums of money.

Matt Howson

Director

Matt has experience in working with a wide variety of clients to manage property portfolios on their behalf to ensure assets reach their full potential.

Matt is experienced in all aspects of the acquisition, disposal and management of client portfolios, be it leasehold or freehold. He also conducts rent reviews, lease renewals and service charge management.

He qualified as a RICS chartered surveyor in 2014 and has worked across a range of property sectors including industrial, office, land and retail on behalf of international corporate clients.

Nick Hosking

Director

Despite being all-time record goal scorer at primary school, Nick Hosking didn’t make the grade as a professional footballer. But Leicester City’s loss was our gain. These days, Nick puts his energy and expertise into high-profile property schemes on his patch.

Obtaining a landmark letting for landlord Aviva by advising them in the letting of Heritage Gate to Derby City Council, the city’s largest office letting for a decade. This assisted with the council’s temporary relocation while £34m redevelopment works were carried out at the council house.

Acting on behalf of Chesterfield College, overseeing completion of the sale of Marklands Campus, Cresswell, which was awarded the Best Practice in Regeneration Award at the 2008 British Urban Regeneration Awards.

Advising GE Capital at Denby Hall Business Park on the disposal of a 244,000 sq ft distribution facility to Technocargo Logistics Ltd, reinforcing Denby Hall as an established location and assisting with the marketing of future plots.

Acting on behalf of landlord F&C REIT Asset Management, assisting with the ongoing disposal of Derby Distribution Centre, with high-profile deals to Crown Crest and Morrisons helping to maintain the client’s income stream and generate local employment.
