Clark Weightman, Chartered Surveyors and Commercial Property Consultants was founded in Hessle, East Yorkshire in 1999.
We are active in all aspects of the commercial property market, including valuing, managing, buying and selling retail, office and industrial property as well as the investment and development sectors. We are skilled and experienced negotiators and can be relied upon to get the best possible result in property disposals, acquisitions, rent reviews, lease renewals and business rates appeals. Whilst each director has his own areas of specialisation, we have found that by working as a team we can provide clients with the best possible results.
Our client base is wide ranging including PLC’s, private companies, pension funds, doctors’ practices and individuals through to public sector organisations and charities. As experienced Chartered Surveyors and Commercial Property Consultants, we have an excellent understanding and knowledge of the property market across the Humber region, including the key centres of Hull, Beverley, Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

Our Team
Andrew Clark
Director
Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor, a Director of Clark Weightman and is a RICS Registered Valuer. He advises a wide variety of private and corporate clients throughout Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire and nationwide. He has particular experience in Landlord and Tenant areas and is on the Presidents Panel of Arbitrators and Independent Experts. He carries out valuations for all purposes, advises on all types of development land and port related property. He also acts as an Expert Valuer on negligence related work.
Andrew is also chairman of the St John Ambulance County Priory Group for Lincolnshire and was until recently a Trustee of the organisation. He is a Deputy Lieutenant for Lincolnshire and was High Sheriff of Lincolnshire for 2017/18.
Simon Weightman
Director
Simon is a Chartered Surveyor, Director of Clark Weightman and is a RICS Registered Valuer. He advises a wide variety of both public sector and private clients with his particular specialisms being bank valuations, Business Rates appeals and valuation and estate management advice to clients in the Healthcare and other public sectors. Simon won the 2016 General Practice Awards “Property Advisor of the Year”.
Carl Bradley
Director
Carl is a Commercial Property Consultant and Director of Clark Weightman. He has a proven track record in the sale and letting of all types of commercial property, residential and commercial investments and development land across the Humber Region. Carl also provides valuation, property management and lease advisory advice. Clients include PLC’s, public bodies, pension funds, private businesses and high net worth individuals. Carl is married with two children. He is a past Chairman of Yarborough Round Table and member of Yarborough 41 Club. He is a Director of The Commercial Property Network and a Trustee of Sunflowers Children's Action Group.
Emma Bennett
Associate
Emma is an RICS Registered Valuer and an Associate at Clark Weightman. She enjoys working as part of a team and specialises in professional work relating to commercial property primarily situated across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, an area she knows well. Valuation work is regularly undertaken for secured lending purposes and for pension funds; lease advisory instructions include rent review and lease renewals. Outside of the office she enjoys a busy family life, playing tennis and spending time in the great outdoors with her dogs and ageing Land Rover!
Helen Weightman
Associate
Helen is a Chartered Surveyor and Associate at Clark Weightman. She specialises in the commercial management of properties across the Humber Region including single shop units, retail arcades, multi let offices buildings and industrial estates. Helen also provides valuations for loan security purpose to banks. Helen is married with one daughter. In her spare time she enjoys cycling and walking.
