Chris brings more than 30 years of mixed commercial, general practice surveying and management experience, developed across a wide range of roles. His career has spanned London West End specialist agencies representing high-net-worth clients, advisory work for the public sector, and leadership within his own private Chartered Commercial practice.
Chris has provided strategic guidance to numerous local authorities, including Hillingdon Council – covering Heathrow and West London, Darlington, Durham & Teesside – as well as councils across the South Wales Valleys, including Newport, Cardiff City and Caerphilly. His experience reflects a strong understanding of both complex metropolitan markets and the specific challenges faced by regional authorities.
For a decade, Chris had played a pivotal role at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, acting as project lead on many high-value and strategically significant redevelopment schemes. He has also overseen major asset valuations, contributing to critical decision-making and long-term planning for a number of authorities.
In any project, Chris will lead the overall delivery and serve as the primary point of contact for all contract and tender matters. He will attend all briefing sessions, design meetings and calls with Government, Public bodies Councils and private clients, ensuring clear communication, strong coordination and a consistent approach throughout.
Chris’s depth of expertise, strategic insight and hands-on leadership style make him an invaluable asset to projects and a trusted partner to all stakeholders involved.
Daniel Clinch BSc (Hons)
Commercial Agency Director
Daniel has extensive experience in property disposals, acquisitions, strategic advisory work and valuations. He acts as the lead strategic advisor to North Yorkshire Council on all property disposal matters and plays a central role in driving their property rationalisation programme. Daniel also works nationally for his largest retained client, the National Wealth Fund, overseeing all property-related activity and reporting directly to HM Treasury.
Working closely with the Property Director at North Yorkshire Council, Daniel is responsible for delivering capital receipts and increasing revenue across the council’s entire property portfolio. He also leads on NHS vacant space management across the North of England, ensuring void rates are minimised and revenue generation is maximised across the estate.
Daniel’s expertise spans the full breadth of commercial property, including:
Disposals
• Successful delivery of office, industrial and development land disposals, on both leasehold and freehold bases, for a diverse client portfolio
Acquisitions
• Multiple commercial property acquisitions across the Yorkshire region for clients such as UKIB, North Yorkshire Council and Evolve Estates
Strategic Advice
• Strategic redevelopment advice for key property assets, including enterprise status applications for major employment sites to maximise development potential
Valuations
• Commercial and residential valuations for private individuals, pension companies and institutional investors and lenders
Daniel has managed transactions for a wide range of clients, including private individuals, pension funds and major organisations such as Siemens, Screwfix, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the UK Infrastructure Bank.
As Commercial Agency Director, Daniel led the launch of the commercial agency arm, securing £5 million in capital receipts within just six months. He has since been appointed to provide all strategic disposal advice across North Yorkshire Council’s full property portfolio. He reports regularly to the council’s board of directors on strategic positioning across their assets and plays a key role in the delivery of land and building holdings.
Daniel’s retained relationship with the UK Infrastructure Bank demonstrates his ability to deliver at the highest level. His work includes national site acquisition, landlord negotiations and lease renegotiation across their portfolio.
With a rare combination of private and public sector experience, Daniel is an accomplished negotiator who brings clarity, confidence and strategic insight to every project. His proven ability to deliver strong outcomes ensures his clients achieve the best possible results, no matter the complexity of the scenario.
