DXN Surveyors can assist with Land Referencing, obtaining and disposing of Land Rights (licenses, wayleaves and easements), Leasehold and Freehold acquisitions and disposals along with obtaining access to land and compensation claims ranging from land damage to high value compensation claims as a result of loss of development due to utility services. They also have experience in Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) and Development Consent Orders (DCOs).

The company was established in 2022 with a view to providing a high quality service to a range of clients involved in utilities and infrastructure work.

Director

Arran Dixon established DXN Surveyors in 2022 after seeing an increasing demand for a high quality of service in the Infrastructure and Utilities Sector.

Arran studied Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University College before joining a Rural Land Agency firm in Cheshire where he gained a wide range of experience in many sectors, including utility work, allowing him to pass his MRICS. From there Arran worked as a key member of National Grids Land and Property Team which involved new and existing infrastructure as well as setting company processes and policy.

Arran has represented a number of utility clients in the delivery of Land and Property activities associated with existing and new infrastructure projects. The knowledge and experience gained from over 6 years within National Grids has equipped Arran with the skills and understanding required to succeed as an independent utility specialist, offering clients a tailored service of project management capability and land rights to ensure best for project outcomes.

With over 9 years’ experience across gas, water and electricity sectors, acting in house for major utility companies as well as supporting private clients as a consultant, Arran is an expert in utility surveying and infrastructure projects, demonstrating a thorough knowledge and understanding of the land and land right requirements vital to the successful delivery of any infrastructure project. Arran prides himself on his negotiation skills and understanding of the deliverables required as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Having experience being both client and customer side has given Arran the exposure necessary to offer advice and add value where applicable as well as follow instruction.
