Advertising Site Management Ltd was, incorporated in 2000 to provide specialist advice to the owners of land on which outdoor advertising hoardings/digital out of home (DOOH) media displays are, or could be, sited.
The firm is currently instructed on hoarding sites throughout the UK dealing with both new site development, rent reviews/lease renewals, valuations, and dispute resolution.
In addition to collaborating directly with clients including Barratt’s, Freshwater, Ministry of Defence, Salford City Council, Sainsbury’s, Stonegate Pub. Co., and Transport for London, the firm is also regularly sub-instructed by major firms of consultants including Cushman’s, DTZ, CBRE Investors, Gerald Eve and Savill’s.

Duncan is a Chartered Surveyor and was a Director of HBSV Chartered Surveyors (formerly Henry Butcher) specialising in the property investment market before setting up Advertising Site Management Ltd with John Hayward in 2000. He has over 33 years’ post – qualification experience.
Duncan has appeared as a single joint expert in the High Court in 2011 for Enfield Council v Outdoor Plus (HQ9X01 140) which went to Appeal EWCA A2/2011/2001 CW 608.
John Hayward BSc FRICS

John is a Chartered Surveyor, qualifying in 1980 and being elected a Fellow in 1992. He was a partner and head of investment at Henry Butcher, prior to which he was a director and head of investment and valuation at Wright & Partners. He was chair of HBSV Chartered Surveyors during which time he co-founded Advertising Site Management with Duncan. He is currently a consultant in private practice advising a range of organisations on all aspects of property.
John is the author of a chapter on valuation in the fifth and sixth editions of Valuation: Principles into Practice and was a founder author for Isurv, the RICS’s online valuation publication.
