You won’t believe your eyes!  The Rising of the North

Our next CPN Northern Powerhouse gathering is on Thursday 13 June, based around Raby Castle, Barnard Castle, Co Durham DL2 3AH – easily accessible from the A66, A1 and Scotch Corner.

Raby, the home of Lord & Lady Barnard, comprises the Castle and significant land holdings in Co Durham and the Tees Valley, including High Force Waterfall. It was the scene of the “Rising of the North” in 1569, and the Estate is currently undergoing significant development with expansion of the visitor attraction and conservation projects.

Our draft itinerary is as follows:

Arrival – Informal lunch in a venue close to Raby Castle

Afternoon – Presentation by Duncan Peake, CEO of Raby (and a Chartered Surveyor) discussing all of the ongoing development works at Raby Castle, followed by a tour of developments (CPD qualifying)

Evening – Beers and a bite to eat in Barnard Castle, with overnight pub stay, with ample opportunity to discuss all things CPN, 60th birthday, Investment Panel and inter-firm deals.

As usual, the cost will be split between attending members.
