We are pleased to confirm that Sam Johnson, Strategy Director at Vickery Holman, has been duly voted in as President of The CPN and will assume the role on 1st January 2026 for a term of 2 years. The vote was held at The CPN Winter Briefing on 27th November 2025 – download minutes here.
Fergus Laird at Naylors Gavin Black will be moving into the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer.
Sam has been a key member of The CPN Board and has played a substantial role in building relationships and driving new business opportunities. Her leadership, alongside Fergus’s new role as CEO, ensures a strong foundation for our next chapter.
Together, Sam and Fergus will lead The CPN through a period of continued growth — strengthening relationships across the network, expanding the organisation’s reach, and ensuring that members continue to benefit from shared opportunity and collaboration.
