Our main geographical area of operation was traditionally central southern England, focusing on the main commercial centres of Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Bournemouth and Poole, Salisbury, Basingstoke and Chichester.

Duane Walker
Director
Duane joined Primmer Olds at the age of 20 whilst still studying a degree in Real Estate and Valuation at Southampton Institute. Further to graduating in 1997, Duane achieved RICS accreditation in 2000 and subsequently becoming a Registered Valuer. Duane became partner and has been one of the driving forces at Primmer Olds which has led to the forming of Primmer Olds B.A.S.
Duane has a wide breadth of experience in the transactional side of the business across all sectors of the market. He specialises in local investment and development agency throughout Hampshire with a particular emphasis on acquisitions and asset improvement.
Duane manages the promotion of the firm taking a progressive approach towards its marketing as well as prioritising the client’s property interests.
Notable clients have included Bacardi, CBRE Global Investors, London and Cambridge Properties, Kennedy Wilson, Bellway Homes and more.
Simon Hake
Director – Head of Advisory & Valuations
Simon joined Primmer Olds B.A.S from Bartley West being brought in as Director of Professional Services. Simon brings over 10 years of experience as a commercial property surveyor predominantly along the South Coast of England.
He specialises in valuations of commercial and residential property, for lending, pre purchase, taxation, probate, matrimonial, pension fund purposes.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, dog walks to the local country pubs and playing golf (badly).
Ben Simpkin
Director – Head of Agency (Dorset)
Ben Simpkin joined Primmer Olds B.A.S in 2022 as Head of Agency (Dorset) to oversee the Dorset office and was promoted to the position of Director in late 2024.
Ben has coming up to decade of experience in the commercial property sector and his main responsibilities were Commercial Agency and Management.
Outside of work Ben enjoys days out exploring, playing the piano (badly) and going to the gym.
